Holiday games at the State Library of QLd.

Make Your Own Computer Game

You may have noticed that we've been promoting several events being run by the State Library of Qld by reposting them on our blog. We will do this from time to time when we see events you might be interested in such as the Gold Coast Young Writers competition or holiday events being run at Gold Coast City Council libraries. Keep an eye out on the blog because new events and competitions are listed as they become available.

Learn how to use Scratch to create your own a-mazing game!
Scratch is a free program that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art.
Participants will be shown how to make a basic interactive game and have the opportunity to develop and refine it.
All participants will also receive a wristband USB drive with a copy of their creation and the program.
