School Holiday Fun

Reposted from GCCC Libraries website

Dinotastic school holiday fun

The last week of September and first week of October is school holiday time, and Gold Coast Libraries have so many dinosaur themed events planned - it's totally Cretaceous.

Get your prehistoric reptiles airborne with Pterosaurs that fly in your room or up in the sky - kids can join a session to make a mobile or a cool kite.

Dinosaurs aren't all roars and jaws and gnashing teeth - creative and crafty kids can also make cute baby dinos or fuzzy felt dinosaurs to take home.

You want something bigger? Join in the fun to decorate an absolutely humongous brontosaurus at a giant dinosaur collage session.

If you're as smart as a Troodon, or as cunning as a Deinonychus, you're certain to do well in the dinosaur scavenger hunt to find the lost dinosaur in the library. And, if you're the sort of social Sauropod that loves hanging out in the herd, join in one of the fun dinosaur games sessions.

These events are perfect for children aged six to 12 years.

Find all the details of session times and locations on pages 8 and 9 of the Calendar of Events. Don't forget to book a place for your children with the host library as spaces can fill up.
